Apologies if this is a daft question but I think I need to replace the gas regulator in my 1980 T25 Devon Moonraker because it looks really old (so old there's no date stamp on it which I believe is now a legal requirement) and when I turn the cooker burners down to a low setting they go out, often with a quite dramatic 'woof'!
It's the standard screw-in Campingaz 907 cylinder set up but my current regulator is 28 mBar and most of the new ones available seem to be 30 mBar (a result I gather of some EU standardisation).
Would those extra 2 mBar be a problem for my old cooker and the Electrolux RM122 fridge? Or indeed would it be an improvement e.g. stopping the burners going out on a low setting (although that's probably just be due to the age of the regulator)
There are still a few 28 mBar ones available and I'm leaning towards getting one of those to ensure compatibility but wondering if 30 mBar one would be an improvement in any way? Any wisdom gratefully received...
