Looking to replace my original DVAD as I suspect it to be faulty. I would like to replace it with an original Bosch German 034 SVAD. I have a chance of one with the serial model number ending in 205 with no suffix letter after it. Would this be OK. 1979/80 early Aircooled 2ltr cu petrol with twin dellorto drla 40s . Also if I fitted a pertronix ignitor to this dizzy would I need to change my ht leads and coil for something different.

Your original distributor would have had factory electronic ignition

Yes it has the hall sensor but I think my dizzy is failing so want to replace it with a svda type and do away with all the wiring that's connected to the coil, dizzy, idle stabiliser and amplifier plugs.
