How do,
Having got Bezza, my 1980 Westy up on ramps to cure the noisy/sloppy gear change with new bushings a thought crossed my mind while I was on a Bush changing fetish
Can I change the drop arm bushes while my T25 is up on ramps at the front? Can it be done without removing the wheels?
I mean't to say the drop arm for the anti-roll bar that bolts to the strut bar that bolts to the lower control arm. Early arms are slightly curved whereas later arms are straight.
I read somewhere on the Vanagon forum @ samba.com that is possible but not without a struggle.
As my Gran used to say, "A job isn't worth doing unless its hard work"
Hello - sorry to jump on this thread but am about to change the gear bushes on my 1980 CU engined and was wondering how it went and if you have any advice please?
Many thanks,
Simon
