Sliding Door 'Too Far Back'?

Post by Dennis_87 »

Hi All!

Our T25 had a new sliding door rubber seal fitted recently... however, we have noticed that when the doors opens & closes, the very back (rear) interior edge of the door catches on the new rubber seal and pulls it out of its groove. Which, when the seal comes loose and dangles down, causes the door to stop opening and closing properly. It has also already started to damage the new seal.

I had a good look at it today and it appears as if the sliding door is fitted a few millimetres too far back!
IF the door were fitted a few millimetres further forward, it would slide clear of the new seal before it moved 'inwards' to it's locked position.

Has anyone else had experience of this?
And/or does anybody know if the sliding doors position can be moved further forward/backwards? When closed, the gap between the forward edge does appear slightly larger than the gap at the rear, suggesting it could/should be moved forward slightly.

Thanks in advance!
