Hi guys n gals .
I've got a gti lump in my t 25.
Seems like I need a new gearbox as the old 5 speed is worn and whinning in 1st and 2nd.
Which boxes are suited to my engine please. I've been offered a dx from an air cooled and the guy says it's an ideal match , but he is selling it ?
Would love to here thoughts please .

I dont have the answers but I guess that whoever does may need more info,
my Golf (petrol) motor liked the ratios of the previous 1.6 diesels gearbox.
Post up what exactly your engine is.
