Pierburg 2e carb accelerator pump

Post by Rara72 »

Is it possible to swap from the small 13mm accelerator pump to the 19mm one as long as you have correct diaphragm?
Or will it cause issues?

Read it again....

"VW discontinued selling the short version and sold a kit to replace the diaphragm and cover with the longer version."

Whether that kit is still available?

Why not simple buy the 13mm version?

Thanks for your reply.

I have both the 13 m and 19 mm diaphragms from brickworks but the 13mm body arm is bent and twisted on mine and I have a new 19mm body and arm that I have acquired and wanted to see if i could just swap it  and put the 19mm diaphragm in it.
