Wiper blade size

Post by SamsBus2012 »

Quick question: what size for replacement wiper blades? Always thought it was 18" but looking on BW, they spec one 21" and one 20",do you think this is a glitch on their website or have I been running small blades without realising it? :?:

18" is original, I think, but the longer ones fit fine and clear nicely.

Nope, its apparently a well known 'upgrade' to utilise more if the windscreen. There's thing in the wiki about it I think.

Hi,

I've litterally just fitted new blades onto my 1983 USA spec Westie .
I originally had 18" blades on both sides, but decided to try 22" on drivers side & 20" on passenger side.
They fit nicely and work really well, clearing a much larger area of the screen.

Hope this helps.
