Just tried to look , website down. My initial instinct was to look at Just Kampers mainly because I have always had good advice and service from them, does anyone know if they are ok in terms of engines, naturally will ring Campershack also later, any advice welcomed, thanks.May also ask mechanic to spend time when engine is out to see if existing engine is recoverable , for example if its just the gaskets for the water jacket ( sometimes referred to as the generic head gasket term on various posts.

Nobody is going to build you a decent wbx engine for less than £4k without a lot of recycling.

Hi Firetrader. Sorry to hear of your engine woes. It sounds like it's possibly overheated to the point of stretching the head studs, so once it's cooled it leaves the heads loose enough to leak from the seals.
I may not be able to help with a rebuild within a short timeframe as I'm currently booked up for 8-10 weeks, but I'm happy to talk through the available options, and the risks involved with repairing the existing unit. Give me a call and we'll see what can be done.

Btw, yes, the website is paused, but I have a guy (with one of my engines in his T3) working on a new site (although I don't really need a website to advertise for more business, as it'll just mean a longer lead time for people). We also have a strong Facebook and Instagram presence, lots of pics of shiny bits and far flung deliveries

PS I wouldn't ever recommend JK for an engine, as they sell Vege brand which currently come from a poor quality builder.

As you know. I have had the displeasure of buying a poor quality engine from a certain well known vw engine company.
