MY engine timing

Post by Buggy83 »

Hi have a 2.1 mv engine that has a triple pulley fitted.I was wondering which Mark on which pulley do I use to time the engine up.And is setting the timing the same as a DG engine.I have fitted a carb to my engine so it's not running the fuel injection system thanks.

TDC will be a larger U shaped notch, the v will be smaller. Take a picture and post it up here and will have a look.
The U shaped notch will on the largest pulley section closest to the block.

Markings do vary, my SA built 1990 DJ does't have the same markings as a German assembled one
