Hello all,
I had my windscreen replaced recently and with that a brand new quality seal. 1990 Syncro Caravelle right hand drive.
I now have water pooling on the right hand side of the drivers footwell (it certainly rained yesterday and today).
Has anyone else experienced this? Anything else to check?

Seal probably isn't sitting right in the corners. I assume you had welding done or a bust screen?

Screen seal not sealing , we had exactly the same with one of ours , never leaked before the screen was changed either

Mine leaks on the near side, seaps in somewhere, and if I park on uneven ground with the offside lower and it rains heavy, it leaks on that side.

All the above but of a weld and replaced a dead screen.
I gather this is an in out job?
The only thing I will add is it has clearly leaked in the past (slightly scabby floor pan). It's nothing horrific, thought the new seal was the answer.
Could it track somewhere else?

We just added sealant around the outer edge of the screen seal , stropped the leak, job done .
Always try the cheap and easy option first i say

At the risk of sounding daft, where did you apply sealant? Lift it up from the outside or inside? And I gather a normal silicone?

Arbomast Autograde is the type of sealant you’re looking for, cheap to buy, designed for this purpose, and doesn’t set (and so doesn’t crack!)

At risk of sounding thick, apply to the seal on the metal side (body) not window side?

Should you need it? This is what you want to go between the glass and rubber.
