Engine oil for DG

Does anyone use Mobil oil as Halfords sell a VW recommended mineral oil is it good enough for our lumps?

Up until halfrauds stopped selling its own brand mineral 15/40 that is all i used , now i use whatever i can get that is mineral and 15/40 , its not in there long enough to worry too much , 3000 miles between changes or 6 months , which ever comes first

Did Halfords do something that P'd you orf or was that just a pun on the name

Looks like Mobil it is then as it's all I can get hold of locally.
