Injection pump + LDA

Hello
I am about to order a remanufactured injection pump for my 1.6 TD JX but I am a bit confused about the LDA.
It seems I don't have an LDA, but when looking at parts supplier they are mentionning LDA and selling them either with the pump or on the side.
So do I need this LDA ? or is the LDA integrated in the genuine bosch pump?

The LDA / boost controller fitted to the OEM JX injection pump looks like a brass metal can - it should be attached to the front facing end of the injection pump:





It may be that somebody in the past has fitted a non-standard injection pump, perhaps from a GTD engine, in which case the LDA could be an attachment on top of the pump that looks a bit like a flying saucer.



If you’re not sure it’s best to post some pics of your engine setup.
