Spacer ring for the knuckle

So in preperation for putting back brake discs etc on Wednesday I was watching this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_YfdXLrDE3U by James Akers which has been really helpful so far. He replaces the spacer rings on the knuckle/hub before putting on his new brake discs and I am wondering if this is necessary? My existing rings are corrosion free and look good, I'm also allergic to having to buy more parts and she will kill me if I say I have another delay waiting for another part so I would rather not have to replace them. What do folks think?

I've never bothered changing (or noticed really) the spacer ring. I owned three T25 campers over the last 15 years and not one spacer ring needed. Possibly yes to every other item, though.
If it's nice and clean, without corrosion or pitting and the new disc seats nice and snug, then don't bother.

That's the answer I want to hear , no other video I saw changed them either. But I have new bearings, discs, pads and using old calipers as they are in good condition. Wednesday is the day its all going to come together.....

I watched that video. I changed every bush and bearing up front during the dreaded lockdown. Even the steering column bush. But didn't need to touch sleeve.

Ya I have bushes for the roll bar, drop links and radius rod as well so i will change them as I go. I can only imagine the can of worms I'm opening when I do the radius rod but the bushing is completely gone. One of the fails ok the cvrt (like the mot) was the 'play in the steering' so I'm hoping doing all this will help remedy that.
