Post by slowcoach »

Just in the middle of a job, and wondering how this line/hose removes from the brake booster?

Dont want to brake anything, it feels pretty stuck...

Lift it out by placing a screwdriver underneath and 'gently' prying against the booster.

Related note!
I need to get the brake booster off the pedals bracket. Ive got access to the back of the booster and undone the 4 nuts. Should the booster just pull off the brake clevis pin? It seems stubborn, like it's still connected somewhere.

Put it to rest now, I'm hungover and early van mechanicing wasn't the best idea

Oooooo.

Are you going to take the whole assembly out too, or is the aim here to change the booster for something more substantial?
