Hi, I’m new to this forum stuff so apologies if the info is already here some where, I have searched.
The thing is. I have bought some Porsche D90s and can’t seem to find a set of matching tyres as they are staggered. Fronts are 7j ET 55 , rears 8j ET 52.3. I am lowering 40mm.
Ideally I’d like matching tyres front and rear, was looking at 205/60/16 front and 225/60/16 rear but it’s a lot easier to find fronts in 215/60/16, but will These fit? And if so is it better to go upto a 225/65/16 on rear aswell? The engine is an afn tdi with flipped box so hopefully won’t affect performance too much? Also I have already bought adapters which are 25mm.
Thanks Dave

Re: D90 wheels on t3. What size tyres?
Search for willtheyfit.com and put the number in.
Also, search the forum. Watch for top wishbone fouls or larger/wider sizes. Most of the extra width has to go outboard, so the ET can end up as low as 21-22mm on 7x15 (a period fitment, they fit just fine and the vans drive perfectly well)

I have d90’s fitted in 6-8j with the same ET, they are wrapped in 215-225/55 nankangs. They just miss the door panel
which I was worried about

Although not Porsche wheels I have 215/60/16's on my van and they're just fine, slightly larger rolling radius which drops the revs a little and as you've discovered, easier to source.Dave1988 wrote: ↑12 Feb 2023, 15:14 Hi, I’m new to this forum stuff so apologies if the info is already here some where, I have searched.
