Fitting Merc wheels to my van. Help

Post by Bugger it »

How do I go about extending the rear wheel suds so I can fit the Merc wheels I have brought?
All I need for the front are longer bolts, but the rear studs do'nt even come through to the front of the wheel.
What do I need and where can I get then from?.
Cheers Sam

Fitting Merc wheels to my van. Help

On the phone to him today. Got it all sorted over the Phone. Paid Via Pay Pal.. My bits came to £59..25 Inc P&P
Longer studs for the rear, stud conversion for front and new nuts.

He will ask some questions about the wheels. On the back of the wheels you will find several bit of information cast into the aly.

Size...6Jx14 H2 Or something like that.
And an ET number On my wheels it was 30
And the thickness of the wheel at the stud hole, from the bottom of the tapper to the flat that gos to the hub This you measure in metric.

So clean them up so you can read it.
Health has now stopped me camping Etc.
