Heater Control Cable

Post by pbar »

I need to change the heater cable, the one which actually provides the heat, i.e. the middle slider control cable. Is this a straightforward job, or is it a dreaded dash out! Thanks.

is it definitely a cable issue or could it be a seized or otherwise faulty valve ?

It is the cable, as I've had the clocks out and at the top end it was bent and deformed. Straightening it to some degree helped but it needs changing really.
