Trailing arms info

Post by paperhouselad »

This may be common knowledge around the t25 experts. I'm  in the process of fitting another trailing arm, in my case nearside, when i realised that apart from the spring seating part thats welded on, they are identical, both left and right arms. So if you are desperate you could cut seating off and re weld on the other side ie to alter from left to right hand, or visa versa.

There is some reinforcing on the spring mount side inside the arm

Apparently there are some universal arms with reinforcing on both sides
