Autosleeper water tank 1986
Hi, just went out to replace a broken connector on the under slung water tank pipe and the pipe has come out of the actual tank! I can feel the nut on the inside. If I drop the tank will there be an inspection hole in the top to put a new fitting in? Thanks. 1986 auto sleeper.

Hi, it’s the fresh water tank, the waste water comes out of the front jacking point. We only use it for washing our hands etc, not as a drinking tap. Cheers.

I did have a fresh water too it was located inside tho it too had an inspection hole with a screw on cap big enough to get a hand though , I would think they all do

Thanks for the reply. I shall drop it down and see. The filler is located on the front passenger wheel arch, maybe where it joins the tank is a possible access too? Cheers.

If they got a nut on the inside when installing the pipe a replacement can be! You may find that the old one is welded to the tank with rust or gunk though.
