As I understand it is not recommended to use the Liqui Moly MoS2 gearbox oil additive in gearboxes with lamelle type limited slip differentials.
But is it ruins it or just the LSD won't work as it should for the next oil change?

Specific LSD oil has friction modifiers that allow the gear synchronization cones to work properly whilst also allowing the clutch plates in the diff to grip.
I have never believed any of the molyslip hype.

I have Motul Gear Competition 75W-140 and second gear is a bit crunchy on cold mornings.
I could not find FORD M2C104A gear oil last time I changed and 75W-140 is advised by Weddle for the longer 5th gear so the Motul seemed a good alternative.
