Hi guys,
looking for advice on this one.
I pulled my 2 bike carrier off to clean the other day, but I can put put it back on tight without it moving. Have tightend brackets at bottom but they still move around... Am i missing something?? the brackets at bottom are meant to be tight against the door??
what the hell is that small picture on the right?? Is that a way to fine tune it??
Any ideas please

I think the thing to the right must be for a different van. The T3 rack does not have anything like that.

thought so, mmm ok. So I bought new bottom brackets in the hope that it must be those that had lost shape, but no.
Do the brackets at the bottom move or are they fixed tight....

Everything should be tight, well it is on ours. Not helpful I know but I took ours off last week and it went back on ok. I just have some thick(ish) bits of rubber inside all the brackets to save the tailgate paintwork a bit.
How much play have you got?

Very loose. Tightening the bottom brackets doesn’t seem to do anything. There is only one way for bottom brackets to go on isnt there??
Good idea with rubber, have some on top but none on the bottom..

My brackets have a small and a taller side. The smaller side goes to the inside of the hatch.

bend the rack to shorten it just enough to make it a little short, it will then clamp up
