Tailgate badge pins

I recently removed the TRANSPORTER badge from my tailgate and thought I had broken off some fixing pins but it transpires that there are only three pins spaced from the middle to one end of the badge, and the other end of the badge is stuck in place. There are only three receptacles on the van too. I am assuming that all vans only have three receptacles on the door and all badges will fit whether CAMPING, VANAGON, TRANSPORTER, etc, the longer end of the longer badges being stuck in place? I want to replace my TRANSPORTER badge with a CAMPING one which is a lot shorter and was hoping the pin pitch and number would be the same?

Yes holes in tailgate the same on the right for all years.
