So that photo is really helpful.
The ones you described as for dg carb, the whitest (is that a word? Most white. Lol ) in you photo, are the ones I've used. So that's good.
If you look at the photo on the very top of this thread, there's the extra set that are a bit thinner and have the exact same shape as my dg inlet manifold.
I think I'll just pretend they are not really there. Lol.

I completely forgot...
I tried the heater plate through the relay, expecting the 15A fuse to blow. It didn't. All I can take from this is there must be some form of surge reduction within the relay, it's the only bit I've not replaced. If I come across another relay ever, I'm definitely breaking it apart to see what is across the contacts.
