Any 1.8 20v Turbo build threads?
I'm searching for any build threads for fitting a 1.8 20v Turbo engine, most of the info I have found so far has been not a lot of help as photos have vanished

Re: Any 1.8 20v Turbo build threads?
I suspect there's a bit of variation depending on whether the T3 is a bus or pickup, and the 1.8T is 'early' or 'late'. Also having fabrication facilities vs. being dependent on readymade conversion parts makes a big difference.
I've done several different 1.8T harness conversions, ranging from an early non-Canbus system which would work with stock T3 instruments, to a later Canbus system with FIS dash panel with distance-to-empty etc.

Re: Any 1.8 20v Turbo build threads?
early days but still struggling to find much info before i commit to doing it.
are some engines better suited than others, which flywheel and clutch works or would it need changing regardless of which engine , what is the preferred adapter plate .
I have a MTDI powered DOKA so am not worried about the engine height. from what i have read so far although some of the 1.8t mate up to the diesel bits its not a good way of fitting as seems preferable to mount the engine better upright [20 degrees]
