I need a couple of leisure batteries for under the seats,
ruined mine some time ago: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171258461691" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
are these still the best to buy,
could be something better by now?
I'm quite happy with my 90aH one in combo with the solar panel.. that keeps it topped up and gives me enough power for the fridge, phone charging and lights without needing to drive to top up
Originally when I bought the van the leisure battery was totally shot.
To get us up and running I rewired the split charge and leisure side of things and plumped for a 'normal' type 100 battery. Its a Lion brand thats usually found in eurocarparts etc and cost be £26 through ebay...... I actually think it was a mis-price but it turned up and has been fine.
Main battery has now shown signs of failing so swapped it over to use as a starter battery now and replaced it with this leisure battery https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/291404375749
Its probably not the best battery in the world, c20 is 75ah, but has a 3yr warranty and with an ebay promotion cost me £42 delivered.

The batteries I took out fitted so snugly they needed no strapping down,
these new ones are smaller so slide around in the boxes a little.
Its a very bouncy Syncro so I needed to fix that.
My collection of tat, specifically bits of various rubber and foam was handy,
a neoprene base under the battery, and 10mm of squishy rubber on top,
and then bolt the swivel base down onto the rubber, couldnt be more solid.
Should be good and a bargain price, so I recommend too.

They look interesting, thanks for that,
shall I give them a go?
It’s is what has been under my seat running the camper interior electrics for the last two years , no issues at all
Got one in my eBay basket now. I'm changing the front seats when the new ones arrive, so it'll be the perfect time to refurb the battery boxes and actually fit a split charge system while I'm in there.
