I can’t tell where to go, but from historical chattering on here, be very cautious of Ellite .

Are you near Swanley? EAGLE AUTOS.
Catford? SEL engine company
Stay well away from Elite  Or any rebuilt engine on internet/eBay for around 1400 quid.

How bad is the weep from water jacket? Got any photos?
They're not actual head gaskets. More a rubber seal
My camper's engine has suffered a minor weep for three years. It will pop one day no doubt. Maybe not.

It’s engine out , head off .... BUT , you risk head studs snapping , to het that far you risk exhaust studs snapping and countless other breaking points ( every nut and bolt and stud if it’s never been to bits )
Most folk seem to either put up with it whilst saving up for and getting a replacement engine ready , or pour "k seal" in and hope for the best , whilst saving up and getting another engine ready ....

It’s not a big bad job if nothing snaps , and if you have the right tools and work shop to do it . It’s very time consuming from a point of view is you are paying someone by the hour to spin the spanners , the cost , as always with these vans is the labour not the part s!
