accelerator cable

fitted a new accelerator cable but seems to be a bit short around 2inchs is there any way of adjusting them for my 1.9 watercooled 1987 van thanks.

Have you tried adjusting it at the accelerator. Definitely got the right one?

You are describing the difference between a LHD and RHD cable.
LHD is shorter.
