1.9 cutting out on incline while running
My 89 1.9l has been cutting out when the fuel tank is at a quarter of a tank and it’s at a incline when I stop or go down a hill then I have to restart it and it fires up ok , just had a full service and new fuel filter any ideas anyone

I'd be checking the fuel filter, make sure its fitted properly to ensure there aren't any air leaks. If a garage serviced it pop back in and explain the situation. If it was fine before you can almost guarantee it'll be related.

T3 fuel gauges are notoriously inaccurate.
Don't let it drop below 1/4.

I have had a similar issue, see advice left by others on my post "Flat spot after long descent".
