HA AH You should make that into a wiki.....er hold on!
I would of thought that a WWW search would of brought up a bit more then it did on the jet, but then I am on the works computer
so who knows what is being filtered...
Well done for keeping tabs tho Mr Feet . That's my evenings entertainment sorted..
Too much fuel injection experience for me with these venturi thingys........ I have only had a carb fuelled daily driver for 4 weeks, before going back to FI again. Picking it up a bit of experience on these T25's though
Mind you as a mk2 1600 Scirocco I believe that had a Pierburg too

They didn't becuse VW never made carbs Pierburg did
Carbs like any technology just got more and more complicated probably for minor performance, economy, reliability and emissions reasons that are long forgotten.
Yes the pierburg was at the zenith of carburettor technology in the 80's for low emissions.
If emissions were not the issue VW would have fitted twin Delorto DRLA imo. (and unleashed the horses)

I remember James making those videos long after many of us were tinkering with 2e3s, I'm not taking away from them because they are good but have not come from many years of experience!

When I had a flat spot it wasn't really there with LPG more with petrol but I have a closed lop which gives it plenty of LPG
LPG setup could cause this as it goes lean.
Yes on LPG and it isn't there when on that.
So this is a flat spot on petrol only?
I'm going to take it out for a drive tomorrow.
I've fitted a better vacuum unit that operates like your video.
Ive also fitted a refurb kit and gave it a deep clean.
I'll have a definitive answer later.
