Anybody got any bright ideas how to do this?
tried and ink roller and it was better than pad printing or hand painting but still not great, took the paint off again.
I thought maybe spray the badge and sand the top off would give inverted writing but nice to have it more origional.

thanks but looks too much effort when a sticker is available.

I took mine off and sprayed them last week. For now i've just put them back as they are but think I will try the stickers. I wonder how forgiving they are if you don't get it on square first time?

However aligning 11 stickers on letters instead of scoring them aroud needs more steady hands IMO

Just an idea (never tried it), what if you sprayed the whole thing silver, then apply a thin layer of vaseline to the letters, and then spray with black. The black paint should just wipe off the letter faces

Or how about just painting them black for that stealth look!

I refurbished one of my badges by spraying satin black and then using a chrome pen for the letters. It looked good for about a year.
