Personally I just look along the passenger side at the mirror & adjust it so that I can see the drivers head rest.

I have to flap mine in every time I drive through my gate and it got very tedious. The landrover mirrors flap in and out and keep your adjustment like any modern mirror does.
They also stay put at 70mph

Are the brackets at that link specific to T25 to allow fitment of LR mirrors or are they standard LR fitment and just happen to line up? Reason being there is a listing with the brackets '/ arms / mirrors listed as LR fitting that works out a few £££ cheaper than buying the mirror and brackets separately...hope that makes sense!

Brackets made specially to fit landy mirrors to a T3 , mirrors not included.
They are mild steel you need to paint them.

^^^^^ Thanks! ^^^^^
All ordered. My mirrors are delaminating a bit anyway. They don't move (unlike most) but bring able to fold them in will be handy.

Yep, I've also fitted Corrado mirrors
Made a pair of 12mm spacers to lift the height and tilt the angle and they are perfect.

The earlier link to the brackets to use Land Rover mirrors has expired on eBay, but this eBay link looks like what was being referred to.
Just remember it is only the brackets you get for your money (oh, and you've got to add postage):

Are they electric mirrors and are they reasonably easy to fit?

The mirrors are but my T25 were'nt so mine are manual.
To be honest you dont need electic adjusters.

Thanks, is there a particular reason for fitting VW Corrado mirrors or can any that are similar be used?

They seem to fit on the door bevel panel as per original mirror bracket pretty well.
I've fabricated a 12mm spacer to raise the mirror angle and it works well. Also allows you to fit the spacer to the original door fixings and then fit the mirror to the spacer (drill and tapped).
The fixing centers are different between original and Corrado so the use of a spacer also helps I'd say.
I filled the Corrado base with liquid metal and then drilled 2 new holes to mount to the spacers which I drilled and tapped.
Cheers
