I’ve just dropped the fuel tank and radiator and am about to replace the front to rear coolant pipes. What else should I check out while everything is out??

Hydraulic pipes for both brakes and clutch and the smaller heater coolant hoses.
Assume you have new gromits for the tank breathers?

Look at the condition of the hand brake rod/cable, it can only be replaced when the tank is out. The clips that hold the metal brake and clutch pipes to the body become weak with age and clean up any earth connections. De rust and rust proof under there as well.
