I was just wondering if anyone opens their boot with bikes on a rack or if this could damage hinges or anything else?

I always have the bikes off, but then it depends how heavy they are. I doubt the struts would hold it up though anyway

I open mine with 2 bikes on the back but I have replaced the tired old struts with new ones. Never had any issues since.

I replaced my struts with upgraded one's from Brickwerks, excellent.

Many thanks I replaced the struts a while ago so will give it a good if I really need to access the boot.
