There are a few options, essentially chemical (rust converter) or mechanical (stuff in the tank, swirl it around to remove the rust).
The problem with both is it depends what is inside the tank and what damage can you do with either method. (plastic components, filter membranes, getting the abrasives out)
TBH, you're going to have to remove the tank to clean it, and as a new tank is only £86.50 I think you'll find a new tank is quicker and cheaper.........and probably cheaper than another pump.
