CV joints I think

Big lumps of metals and spanners. Including servicing and fluids.

CV joints I think

Post by TheBeaver »

Our '87 Caravelle has developed a bit of a knock. It comes mostly over 30-40 km/hr, reminds me a bit of that classic CV joint sound except for the fact that it comes when you drive in straight line (with power on) and doesn't change or worsen in turns. I have checked the engine/gearbox mounts and wheel nuts. Before I pull the trigger on a couple of sets of CV joints does anyone else have any other ideas as to what I should be looking at?

Cheers :)

Check CV bolts first. Some might be loose.
