I decided to replace my ARB and drop link bushes last weekend, having your video as a guide was invaluable so thanks once again for doing these.
I used the clamp method on the drop link upper bush and as you say, keeping the pressure on whilst using the clamp is the trick.
I did make one stupid mistake that is worth mentioning. When torquing up the bottom drop link nut I didn't hold the drop link bar itself, so as I tightened the nut the drop link bar twisted and popped off of the end of the ARB leaving the bush with it. Meant that I had to start the process again.
You live and learn.
I'm going to be doing the radius rod bushes this weekend, so will be using your other video as a guide.
Looking forward to you tackling the upper control arm bush replacement and posting a guide.
Hope the radius rods go OK and you don't have the dreaded rust in the mount point. You can't see in the video but i'm actually standing on the spanner to get it moving initially for the right hand side one.
I'm trying to find time to do the last bit, hopefully soon!
Can I first of all thank you James for taking the time to produce this excellent video!
I was wondering if anyone knows the correct torque setting for the nut on the bottom of the drop link? I have the kinked/cranked ones if that makes any difference.
