Fitting a leisure battery with existing twin alternators

Post by welshbird »

Hi I have looked at wiki but need more specific advice if anyone can help...... I would like to fit a leisure battery into my van and already have twin alternators as van is ex army communications and there is already a piece of very thick cable snaking from bodywork into empty battery box under passenger seat. I can change a plug ..... is this something I can attempt or should I save up and pay a professional? Thanks for any help.

I would re-post this in Technical/electrical. You will get plenty of responses that way.
