Sorry but the Archive is not working for me and a search turned up nowt.

How do you know if the LDA is failing? 1.6 JX engine.

The search function on the forum doesn't work with strings of three letters or less. For those you need to use the google site search function. For example in the forum:
https://www.google.com/search?q=lda+sit ... 8090.co.uk

And in the archive:
https://www.google.com/search?q=lda+sit ... 8090.co.uk

Thanks for that, I kinda get the gist of it now.
still unable to access the archive though, must be this netbook thingy I am forced to use!
By the looks of things my LDA is still working fine.
My problem is unburnt fuel expressing it self under moderate to hard acceleration, almost like 'rolling coal' that you see sometimes in the US of A videos.
Only when not under boost, i.e. below the magical 1800 rpm, or is it 2000....... I can never remember, once boosted up the black smoke goes.
