Can anyone tell me which is the inlet and which is the outlet on a CU mechanical fuel pump?

On a similar note - how do I remove the fuel pump? I can't get to the hidden bolt hiding behind the pump and tinware. Is it a case of bending tinware out the way?

Cool. Makes sense. Is it just undo the two bolts in the pic?
