Hall Sender replacement 034998065

Post by Ralf85 »

I want to buy one of these. Reading up on options, I've noted that at least one needs fettling before it fits. Versions are out there made by Facet, Vemo, Bremi and Topran. Anybody know which is currently the best option? Cheers.

They all need fettling now to fit the plug, the correct Hall sender was 035 998 065, NLA. The 034 is the Golf type with a different square plug socket. Unlikely they are all made by the different companies just bought in and re-boxed you really just have to make a guess from the £10 JP one upwards.

Cheers guys As mine is a DF engine and the van was built in 1984, at the time of many parts changes, trying to find the correct version of certain parts is tricky.

The hall sender was the same for all the Aircooled/watercooled T25's, apart from the MV with Digifant injection.

Having missed it the first time, I've found one on the Brickwerks site. That's now on order.
