Hi guys,
I'm in the process of removing the cylinder heads from my 2.0 CU. I have removed the head bolts but the heads don't want to seem to come away without the barrels attached. is the best way just to prize the cylinder head away from the barrel with a pry bar or the like? Just asking before I start prying away and break something!
Cheers
Tony

Re: Removing cylinder heads
Don't try to pry them off, try a good knock from side to side with a rubber mallet.

Re: Removing cylinder heads
Hi saran, yes pushrod tubes removed, the one side came loose fine. I have removed the cylinder head and barrel together now so just have to seperate the two! Then on with the other side! Are there any warning signs of damaged heads I should be looking out for?
Cheers
