Sump plug washers

Post by peteinnit »

Hi,
Another piece of advice needed please. I've always had trouble finding sump plug washer for my 2.0l a/c ended up re-using on most occasions. Can anyone confirm what size the washer should be please. I'm also about to change the gearbox oil, so would also appreciate the size of the gearbox drain plug washer as well please.

Many thanks (again) for all advice received.

M14 x 20 aluminium or copper washers, buy a pack off ebay

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/M14-X-20-X-1- ... COKW1ftiIQ" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The strainer plate is M12 x 18

Gearbox plugs use a taper thread no washers, make sure you can undo the filler plug before draining the oil.
