What Battery for 1.7 KY Diesel?

Looks like my battery has given up

I was looking online to find a replacement for an 84 1.7 KY diesel engine. My searches came up with a Yausa YBX1100 CCA 620 and 20Ah.

The Van already has a Yausa battery installed. buts its 650 CCA and 68(?)/20 Ah.

Anyone know if i should stick with the same type that's already installed in the Van? I'm happy to use a different battery brand if anyone can recommend?

Stick the biggest in that will fit. Mine has to be jer-jiggled to get it in (and the battery ) but it is bigger than the listed one. No point me saying the size as there may be different tolerance on the battery tray and the angle that is needed to get it in place.

Any idea what the highest powered battery I can fit in is? I'm happy to get a better one, just not a mechanic lol.

Type 017 is a good fit. From 80 quid at Alpha batteries.

For a bit more capacity, the type 019 will fit - same width and length, but a bit taller. A couple of Ah better, and another fiver or so.

Will probably go for the 019, as i don't think my autosleeper comes with an additional leisure battery?

If i upgrade to a 1.9 in the near future, would this battery be suitable also?
