MOT and broken Exhaust Pipework (Front) bracket

Post by Sailsy »

Hi all,

My van is due its MOT in a couple of weeks and I noticed a few days ago that the front exhaust pipework bracket circled on the picture had broken at the top end and was hanging down from the pipework. Is this an MOT failure? I cant find the bracket online so do you have to replace the whole pipe work which looks like a big (and expensive) job.

Let me know what you think.

Cheers

As long as don't effect exhaust or emissions I'd just take it off, they'll be non the wiser.
