VW T25 mechanic near Bromley, Kent

Post by flyingfalcon »

Hi,

I'm looking for a mechanic / garage near Bromley, Kent, who has experience with VW T25's - does anyone have any tips?

For servicing, MOT's and sorting out any issues on my 1986 T25 1.9 petrol

I have used a local VW garage but am not that pleased with them tbh.

thanks

Rochester is a bit further than I would ideally like but I'll bear them in mind if nothing else comes up, much appreciated

If he's good its worth the the trip. Sadly plenty of crap garages around but few decent ones. What needs doing?

Don't know if it came to anything, but I remember Fuzz Townshend launching a directory called http://www.classicfriendly.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.

Cheers for the classic friendly link, there's a recommended mot tester near me, might give them a try after last year's debarkle (tester failed ours on lambda reading) still shows on mot history, still can't believe the incompetence of the tester.

Just to update - I found Peter, a mobile mechanic (link below) to come out and sort the issues on my camper - he knows his T25's and is highly recommended :D
