Hi All
Having problems getting one of the injectors out. Will not budge at all. Have heard about doing it with a hot engine and soaking it in coke? The fizzy type I presume. Any hints gratefully accepted.

Re: 1.6td stuck injector
Have you fixed your timing issue then? ( Just wondering why you have moved on to injectors as well)

Re: 1.6td stuck injector
Hey Oldie
No. Went through it all again with a mate and couldn't workout what I'd done wrong. He was convinced it was an air lock. Have taken it to a garage. Unfortunately although he's meant to be a good mechanic he's a bit of a stoner...... Anyway, he has got it running well, in his words, but says it is now not starting so well. Which he think is glow plugs. Bit unsure why that would suddenly happen after all this as it was starting fine. Re the timing I can only assume it's when I tried to time the cam to the flywheel. It was, I thought, fractionally out and adjusted the pulley. Went back and it all looked OK. He tells me he has timed it without cam lock?? Don't know how that poss but it obviously worked.
I wanted him to do the injector as it has a slight leak but he doesn't have time hence me wanting to know how to loosen it off.
Thanks for all you input. Pity I couldnt fix it myself, but will look at timing when I get it back just out of interest.
