My oil filler pipe seems to be leaking from the seal where the metal pipe meets the plastic sliding upper part.
Is there a seal in there that can be replaced ?
Thanks

Re: 1.6td oil filler pipe leak
I had the same problem, there is a difference in the tolerance of the fit with the plastic pipe.
I ended up fitting a good second hand complete pipe that I got from someone on here.
I suppose you could wrap some heatproof tape round the tube a small piece at a time until you're happy with the fit.
Alternatively remove the plastic pipe and carry it or a funnel when you top up your oil.

I might see if the tubes will pull apart and try to pack it with ptfe or similar to improve the fit

they are one piece and available new but plenty of people have sealed them in various ways (piece of inner tube and jubilees perhaps) once broken, might not last forever though.
