Sliding door 'gap'

Post by 100leelee »

Hi,
On my sliding door there is a gap between the outer glass and the inner panel, almost like there ought to be another glass panel in place. Has anyone just had glass cut and put in place? Could bridge the gap I guess, but adding another pane might look neater etc..??

You have a panel van conversion, the inner lip is one half of what would be on a factory window van .

You can fit a rubber edging strip to the inner panel which closes the gap. Something like the 1472 on this page.

That's what we've got on the rear side windows. Looks neat enough.
1.9D (AEF) pop-top. Aaaaahhhhh........that's better.
