Anyone recommend a body shop to do a spot of welding?
Failed MOT yesterday needs a spot of welding on nearside rear suspension mount area. Had a quote for a full restore running into thousands which I don't have at the minute, ideally I just want her patching up until I can scrape the cash together to get a better job done. Anyone in the Sheffield area recommend a decent welder to fix her up??

Get in touch with Metal Mickey/ plastic man ( I think) near your area.
Otherwise go to local reputable welder.

Its a typical fail area on these vans and a "spot of welding" can soon turn into a major reconstruction job. Even a patch up job can get quite involved.
Just done my own offside sill ends, a day and a half's hard graft including making the repair panels. Put in about a square foot of steel but could have easily gone further.
