Sliding door alignment

Post by dave friday »

Morning all,I can't get the door high enough ( so the bends on the door line up with the bend on the body)
It looks like the three slotted hinge fixing in the door need filing down a bit so I can lift the door that last little bit.
Am I missing something ?
I've replaced the hinge vertical roller.
I dont think, so I'm not[do I exist?]

Sounds like your lower track is dented or worn away. Mine was completely worn through into holes.

Thanks, the problem is with the 3 bolted hinge that runs on the middle track ( at the rear end of the sliding door )
There isn't enough vertical adjustment left on the hinge slotted mountings In the door .
I've bought some rotary files to "adjust" the bolt slots in the door!
I will post the result/ how I get on.
Ps,the bottom track has very little wear.
